good morning, I was given an old vu+ duo2, since it has little memory and is a bit slow, would there be the possibility of putting an original image on the flash and a firmware in multiboot? thanks

Original and VTI images do not support multiboot - an open image that supports multiboot had to be installed in the flash

There is no hardware multiboot for that receiver.
No kexec multiboot either.
You will be better off using openmultiboot (OMB) plugin. Use ATV, OBH or ViX in flash memory. And other images on USB/HDD. PLI in flash memory and OMB does not work very well.
I don't know much about neoboot.
