You can install BUT you need to flash just after the image, the original SSL that is included, and then after replace the bcm7405 file in the driver folder, named extra (in /lib/modules/...),

To recover your box from a NO CA ERROR message, just use DreamUp and flash the original SSL or any original image or do as explained above.

You need to first flash the openpli 9.xStar or 8.xStar image, then flash the ssl provided on the patch file. Then only reboot.

When the box will have booted with an FTP tool you need to replace the bcm7405.ko file by the one provided on the patch file, to have it working as original.

Check the feeds, if this is on the official image, then feeds would have been compiled for it. I talk naturally about the OpenPLi 9.xStar, as the 9.1 has no feeds.

Take this image,

Then get the patch files,

1) Flash OpenPLi 9.xStar image (without rebooting)

2) Flash the ssl on the patch files for the original box

3) Reboot box

4) FTP to the box in /lib/modules/3.2-dm7020hd/extra/

5) replace the biggest file, the bcm7405.ko by the one from the patch archive for original (rename it naturally to bcm7405.ko).

Then all should work smoothly, rebooting the box,

login into the box and check if enigma2 loads or not, if it doesn't then it means something went wrong,

Send these two commands with telnet/putty and put here the returns.

1) "ps" (example below on my DM7020HD Original)

Here I have no problem on my DM7020HD original boxes to use our OpenPLi 8.xStar and 9.xStar.

Capacitors, if you have such problem there is 3 big capacitors to change on the motherboard. I had one box with that problem, freezing... check them if they have an hill on top of them, the ones near to the smartcard reader (right of it watching box from the frontpanel).

The DM7020HDv2 image is for the v2, you cannot use it on the v1.

About the streamrelay, there is no difference in the firmware between all the images, its all the same "compile"... difficult to know and understand, I can only think about some differences in the configurations... software level it's all same type of hardware between DM7020HD (BCM7405 like DM800HDse) and DM8000HD (BCM7400), broadcom chipset.

Check the capacitors on the motherboard (near to the smartcard reader), just to be sure these are now EOL, with an hill on top I had one like that and the box was acting as you describe.

You can also just reflash the image and see if you have the same problems or not,
