Hello.
Just got a H17 but I can't get it to see the satellite tuner on Openvix.
No problem with it seeing the Terrestrial tuner.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Where did you download a VIX image for the H17 from? It's not listed on the ViX download site?
If a tuner is not visible, it's usually a hardware fault or driver issue. Or maybe a software issue.
Have you tried other images? If so, are they okay?
Just saw your post on other forum. You flashed a H7 image on your H17. No wonder it doesn't work properly! You will have to wait for a proper image for it or build one yourself.
Tried every possible image for the H17 and also as you said the H7S image. The h7 vix image actually worked ,just did not see the sat tuner.
None of them work properly. The latest Open ATV image recognised the sat tuner but failed to download any channels.
The terrestial tuner worked fine.
I think I'll return it,spent too much time on it already.
Might buy another H7S,if they can still be had.

What do you mean "download" ? Dose is manually scan channels ? What satellite ?

28.2
Scan of Freesat UK,Sky UK and Sky Ireland all failed on Autobouquets Maker.
Been using Zgemmas since 2016 and this is the most difficult one I've encountered.

Try a manual scan first. I am not familiar with the h17, dose it have blind scan ? If so try that as well.
If you have connected up your cables correctly and setup your tuner correctly you should be able to scan 28.2.
Once a manual scan picks up channels, then try ABM again.
My Zgemma H17 works well with the following images: Open ATV 7.5.1 and 7.6 beta, and Egami 10.6, as well as Spa on Astra 19.2 and Hotbird 13
It recognizes the Terrestrial tuner and the satellite tuner without any problems and finds all programs on 19 and 13 because I can only scan this satellite position
Ok,so I restored the box to factory settings again and on latest OpenAtv it scans 28.2 and finds 705 services.
When I scan on Auto Bouquet Maker I get a Tuning Failed error no matter which provider I choose...Sky Ireland,Freesat UK or Sky UK.
That's the part that's failing for me every time.

Can you take a picture of how you set up the satellite tuner ?

Good stuff, at least we now know the cables / dish and tuner itself are working.
I would imagine the tuners set up would need adjusting for ABM to realise it only has one sat tuner to use, for to update its providers.
As EnoSat said above, Post some screenshots / pics of your tuner setup and ABM settings,
rather than us trying to guess where the issue is, we may be able to spot a setting that just needs a tweak.
I'm in Southern Ireland for info.
I thought this, not Manual scan
You can verify transponders in Signal Finder

Strange,not seeing signal finder.
Definitely getting a good signal, working fine connected to the H7S before I swapped them earlier.
On the Sat meter.
Signal finder is in System plugins

Thanks,found it.
I'm wondering is it an alignment issue?
If you have all Predefined transponders with a signal, you can use Manual Scan - Single satellite if there is a problem with ABM
