Please draw a diagram like this so there are no misunderstandings of your hardware setup.
Flash the ATV beta image, 7.6 (27 July). You can use the chroot multiboot function.
Take screenshots of configurations of tuner A1 and tuner A2. Upload them to the forum please.
OK, just downloaded the suggested Openatv 7.6 image.
Now it's too late, tomorrow I will install it in my DM920 and will provide the screenshots you asked for. Thanks.
OK, just installed the Openatv 7.6 of July 27th and the problem is solved!!!
Look at my screenshots.
Both pictures named "Other" are taken from a previous image, and this was the situation with EVERY images other than the Openvix. As you can see, all 8 tuners are detected in the same way, and only the first one did work as I mentioned earlier.
Both pictures named "openatv_76" are taken from this new image. Please note that the first 2 tuners are perfectly well detected and manually configurable now, as the remaining 6 ones are shown as Virtual tuners and automatically configured. This picture is very similar (almost identical) to what was in the Openvix.
Please note that all pictures was taken immediately after a fresh installation.
So, thank you so much for your very great support, and CONGRATULATION to you and to the Openatv developers. You brilliantly solved the issue.
Considering this solution, I will certainly switch to the new Openatv 7.6 image as soon as it will be officially released. Do you know when it will happens?
Thank you again, let me know if you need something more.
Strange, as I said, I've never had any problems with OpenPli with FBC.
If you also check VuPlus Solo 4K with its images, it uses the drivers I have on OpenPli (see photo).
And if I remember correctly, OpenVision also used them, and my friend has FBC support and has never had any problems. SatDream also uses DM 920.
I don't know what to say, but here it is.
Forgot to add that I never found any problem in my Vu+ Duo4K SE, only in the DM920.
I just reloaded Satpong Openpli software...better wizard than the 920...with the FBC drivers.
I'll test it at my friend's place, hopefully on Saturday or Sunday.

Is it an Openpli customised for the DM920?
Not sure that I'm able to take screenshots directly from the box, my linux skill is very very poor.
If not, tomorrow I will take more detailed picturesusing my iphone like today for both tuners (A and B) and I will post here. Thanks.

Tested, but it does not work unfortunately.
You certainly made a step forward, now all tuners are recognized exactly like in the Openvix. So it seems all ok, but scanning in the Tuner B no channels are found. No problem in the Tuner A, as always.
Also, I attempted to upload into the box my personal settings that I daily use with the Openvix. Doing so, tuning in any channels related to the Tuner B I get the message: "Tune failed".
So, something else must be fixed. I wait for your test next Saturday. Thanks.
Hello, more pictures here, this time taken directly from the box as requested.
As you can see, Tuner A1 is a simple one for my dual feed dish, Tuner A2 is for my motorised dish, no motor movement is needed as I use a standalone dish controller.
Please note that in the Tuner A2 I did not configured the satellites at 13 East and 19.2 East to avoid any possible conflict with the other tuner.
Also, the main Tuner menu is very well written and self explained.
With this configuration my DM920 is perfectly working now with all satellites actually configured (and surely with all additional satellites that I will set later).
GREAT JOB!!
PS: Do you know when the OpenATV 7.6 will be officially released? Thanks.
