Do I need to change my oscam to the Icam version for Ubuntu & 098D Germany

    everything looks the same in my configs as you have posted above . The only thing that was not in the webif was

    config.streaming.descramble_client=True

    config.streaming.stream_ecm=True

    I tried this but still no joy.

    Remember that the nline works ok when I run it in the stb, but when the line is in the pc the stb connects to it but not clearing. Very close to success I feel.


    Just a thought. On the pc server should I have added anything extra apart from the reader.

    You have oscam 11537. The stream relay stuff was added to official oscam in 11735, all newer versions will have this. If your configs are correct and it still does not work, then please update the version of oscam.

    To clarify,

    my friend sent me the config for reshare and it has ''protocol = cccam. It runs in the stb with this ok. In my server it connects back to my friend ok but if I change protocol to ''newcamd = 1 it will not connect to him ????????.

    Maybe he needs to do something ????????????.

    Sorry I know I am a pain.

    If he sent you the CCCAM, you also need to create a CCCAM reader.
    If it works on the box, you need to do it on the PC as well.
    And the reader needs to connect first.
    Then test with HD+ channels, which are without stream relay.
    If it works, then with Sky channels.
    That way you should quickly see what's wrong.

    My PC runs my obo1 card throughout the house perfectly.

    Friends Nline I have added as a reader to my PC also for sky.de football only. That is all I want from him.

    He gave me group = 1 which is what I use on the reader. I can see his card details on the reader oscam tab and it says ''connected''.

    With group = 1 the UI says connected to card 1 of 1.

    He has nothing to do with the group.

    You say on the PC that your friend's reader is group 5.

    Now one of your users must also access group 5.

    Then a request will be sent to your friend.

    So you should see such a request in the log, and then the question is what happens.

    I'm just reading this thread. I would like to ask you though why don't you install a newer oscam for your pc and dispel the suspicion that maybe your current version of oscam doesn't support streamrelay streaming. You can also check in oscam.log if you have a connection to streamrelay. Which version of oscam do you have in your STB.Try to change in oscam.config user = dvbapi instead anonymous and on oscam.user also. Did you have in oscam.dvbapi caid 098D as priority in the list.


    UPDATE,

    Success at last.

    I reflashed my STB Tiviar alpha + to the latest Vix image as it was acting strange with oscam having to be started after changing channels. It now runs the .de channels from my PC with the existing oscam, so all along the stb was causing the problem.

    I am now looking at replacing some of the other boxes around my property but I don't need anything as fancy as a triple tuner unit. Maybe some of the amiko combos will support Icam/stream relay ??????.
