Do I need to change my oscam to the Icam version for Ubuntu & 098D Germany

  • Hi Guys,

    I have a pc running ubuntu with oscam r11537, serving one of my cards around the house. My friend has sent me an Nline for 098D Germany. Do I need to change my oscam to the Icam version. I have installed his Nline and it is connected but its not clearing.

    Sorry if this post is in the wrong place but I have tried posting recently but got no replies.

    Any advise or help appreciated

  • On the box where you want to watch the channel (file whitelist_streamrelay in /etc/enigma2/), you need to set the channel to icam use, as well as set on the oscam.conf the line to validate it, and on Webif the proper configuration (on the client box).

    On the intermediary server side, you just have nothing to do.

    TS

    oscam.conf on [global] section

    Code
    disablecrccws_only_for        = 0500:030B00,0E00:000000,1884:000000,098C:000000,098D:000000,09C4:000000,09CD:000000

    and as well add

    Code
    [streamrelay]
    stream_relay_enabled          = 1
    stream_emm_enabled            = 1
    stream_ecm_delay              = 0
    stream_relay_ctab             = 0963,0961,0960,09C4,098D,09CD
  • Thanks toysoft for getting back to me.

    I tested the box with the Nline that I use on the box for viewing and after installing stream relay (which I knew nothing about) the channels clear. So I now know that the stb is configured and running Icam OK.

    I will try the streamrelay code that you posted in my pc and see what happens.

    UPDATE,

    STB is connected to PC (oscam11537) but not clearing. ?????????

  • You need via the menu, of the image, to validate the streamrelay use with every channel that works with icam, and it will show up (the ID of the channel) on the file /etc/enigma2/whitelist_streamrelay

    Check also if in your /etc/enigma2/settings file you have the two lines below (these are activated via the OpenWebIf, but you can insert on the settings file yourself, while the box is in "init 4", then restarted with "init 3" after adding).

    config.streaming.descramble_client=True

    config.streaming.stream_ecm=True

    You will also see on the menu, see below,

    pasted-from-clipboard.png

    then Press "menu" button on the channel, and then check if the streamrelay is active or not for that channel

  • hs5424 - I don't want to get involved in this debate, but I can't help but ask a few questions:

    1, Do you have a source of "codes" that will allow you to watch Sky DE stably?

    2, Do you have a version of Oscam that can actually work with streamrelay and thus "open" Icam channels?

    3, Do you have Oscam configured correctly?

    I get the feeling from your debate that you don't have either.

    And that's all from my side, and continue to kill your time with empty talk that obviously leads nowhere.

    Nosce te ipsum.

  • iCam is built in the actual OSCams, since some months (1 year I think), it just needs to be setup properly, and the table key for UK and DE looks like to be known... so all rely on having configured all properly, and yes to have access to a "valid subscription" smartcard.

  • toysoft - The version of Oscam that the author of this thread is writing about - r11537 - raises doubts in me about Icam support. But as I already wrote, it's your time and it's up to you how you deal with it. I'm sorry for interfering in your debate, I'll be quiet and keep my mouth shut. :winking face:

    Nosce te ipsum.

  • OK just to clarify.

    I received an Nline which works in my STB with Icam. I can see the DE sports channel OK. I now have disabled it in the STB and have put it into my PC running Oscam 11537. The STB connects to my PC but will not clear pictures.

    This is what my whitelist streamrelay looks like. Take a look and see if it looks ok to you guys.

    Thanks for sticking with me.

    So, user is wrong, anonymous
    in user and in the conf in the dvbapi section

    But you don't have a reader that supports 098D

    How did you set up the N line as a reader?
    Connects it

  • Hi kitte888,

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I put the Nline into my STB like this and it worked. I tried the same in my PC, PC to become a server and my STB connects to it but no DE pictures.

    How do I get a reader on PC that supports DE

    [reader]

    label = 098D_iCam

    enable = 0

    protocol = cccam

    device = ####

    user =

    password =

    inactivitytimeout = 30

    caid = 098D

    group = 1

    disablecrccws = 1

    cccversion = 2.3.2

    ccckeepalive = 1

    audisabled = 1

  • Hi abu baniaz,

    The reason I mention the PC is to clarify that the PC is running oscam and a local card and my stb's around my house connect to it.

    Master G,

    I was given the Nline that I was told was in the proper format so I checked it out in a stb and it worked when I sorted out the streamrelay config. I presumed it was ok when it ran in oscam . Enable = 0 is because I copied the reader in its disabled state to post here. Its normally Enable=1.

    Thanks for all the help.

    • Official Post

    You are going about this incorrectly in my opinion. The PC has a card reader. Your STBs are connecting to the PC and decrypting the services on that card. When the STBs want to use services that your friend is sharing with you, they should be connecting to your friend.

    There may be a way for you to re-share in which case you will need to ensure the reader is in correct format.

    As an aside, can you not use the card reader in your receivers instead of keeping the PC on all the time?

  • You can reshare no problem, there is no special setup on the server, BUT you need to properly setup the image/box with an image compatible with iCam and the oscam adapted to it,

    There is configurations to do on various places

    - whitelist_streamrelay file in /etc/enigma2 with the ID of the channels (you can activate them via the enigma2 menu while you are on the channel name)

    like this,

    1:0:19:33AC:3EB:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:132F:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:1330:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:1332:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:2B66:3F3:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:1F:307A:3F5:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:EF74:3F9:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    1:0:19:EF75:3F9:1:C00000:0:0:0:

    ...

    - the oscam.conf needs specific parameters

    [global]

    disablecrccws_only_for = 0500:030B00,0E00:000000,1884:000000,098C:000000,098D:000000,09C4:000000,09CD:000000

    and

    [streamrelay]

    stream_relay_enabled = 1

    stream_emm_enabled = 1

    stream_ecm_delay = 0

    stream_relay_ctab = 0963,0961,0960,09C4,098D,09CD

    - your webif, has to have two things setup, that will then be written into the /etc/enigma2/settings file

    config.streaming.descramble_client=True

    config.streaming.stream_ecm=True

    and naturally the source has the 098D, as well as the oscam you use on the image is supporting it.
