  • abu baniaz , here is Terrestrial finder xml if you need it only thing I have noticed is.

That's TV (Ayrshire) and That's TV (UK) both present

the bouquet comes up named TV- Central Scotland terrestrial

but epg does not populate via epgimporter but just when I select a channel.

Do you add the extra entries to the to terrestrial_uk_freeview.xml in ABM

just wondering because when I flash online with restore setting yes TV- Central Scotland terrestrial bouquet is there but if I need to scan in ABM I need to use DVD-T Frequency filder again to get Central Scotland terrestrial to appear in ABM.

    UK Freeview EPG:

There are no entries in Rytec database for UK terrestrial channels. EPG importer therefore does not import EPG for UK Terrestrial channels. It is going to be difficult because from my experience, all the different regions all have the same service references. Either use EPG refresh and add a terrestrial channel for it to zap to or create your own xml file for EPG importer to use.

I am a bit confused about what you are saying in your second issue. Are you using that the localised ABM provide file that ABM Terrestrial Finder creates is not restored? The whole of /etc/enigma2 directory and contents should be backed up then restored on ATV . The ABM customised folder is within /etc/enigma2/ I have asked one of the ATV developers to double check.

The whole reason for using frequency finder in ABM is because the official ABM Terrestrial provider file does not have the all the details. You have to select that provider file while the details are missing in the official provider file. It will be better to add the missing data to the official provider so that all your channels are found when you select Darvel with the stock . Please upload your lamedb file and also the provider file that ABM frequency finder creates. The example file you uploaded is just a list of channels, it is of no use.

Alternatively, do not use ABM for Terrestrial, use the Terrestrial scan plugin.

  • Abu I am using openatv and there is no Terrestrial scan plugin in openatv plugins , but I have found terrestrial_finder.xml

If that is the one made by ABM frequency finder.

    It is stored in /Root/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers,

and I checked, it is not backed up with enigma2settings file so not present when you restore settings.

So not certain whether for now just to add terrestrial_finder.xml to select additional backup files or will it work if I copy it to ,

/ect/enigma2/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers folder it is always empty so not sure if that is what it is for.

And yes I did use EPGRefresh before and just stopped using it as I thought EPG was populating but I was wrong :(

As for create my own.xml file for epgimport I don't have a clue how to do that sorry.

I hope these are correct files.
