meaning : no hope for Openpli

If the code is both python 2.7 and python 3.* compatible then there is no reason it shouldn't work on openpli.

The problem with openpli is its a barebones image. This has always been the case. It's always been a hands on image.
So if you want openpli to work like openatv or openvix, then the user has to manually install certain libraries to get certain plugins working.

This isn't a fault with the author of plugins. It's exactly how openpli is.
But in 2025/2026 it is still yet to include a lot of python libraries that are being pretty much used in every modern plugin. That is openpli's issue.

There are some comments/suggestions by El Bandido which may be useful to the developer.

There is definitely a mix up.I have hotkeys for red(epgimp ) and red long press(subtitles plugin) now both red launch ai sub.plugin with error msg.

Did you install the plugin on your VU+ Uno 4K SE using only this command? `wget -q "--no-check-certificate" https://gitlab.com/hmeng80/ext…ISubtitles/aisubtitles.sh -O - | /bin/sh`

I extracted the folders from the AI Subtitles 1.8 zip folder using FileZilla. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me.
