Hello, I have a few questions about Dreambox ONE UHD. I would appreciate your help.

All is same as on a DM900/920 or even a DM7020HD (Tools such as DreamBoxEdit, DreamSet, DCC, Putty, Telnet, FTP can be used). DreamUp is only for older boxes to flash the firmware. On the DreamOne/Two you flash it as on DM7020HD via the webinterface (IP of the box once set to Flashing mode).

The issue is mostly related to the image you installed, was it the same as on your DM7020HD ? Probably the best is to install the same image you were used to use on your DM7020HD, and then you will see that all will work smoothly then.

It's best to install Experimental Enigma2 Images Gemini 4.2-dm on an SD card and watch via the SD card.

The first image to put in is in flash. Then you can think of an image on the SD. The best image for one or two is the Gp4.2 AIO.

as well as PurE2 (but I think only an old one that wasn't updated since)

and DMM images, stuck on development as there is no more development done on the main part of the software, enigma2.

The modem usually also acts as a router. You should have other ports near the one to which you connected your PC

You have to connect the Ethernet cable from the decoder to one of those four ports. The modem will assign you an IP automatically.
