  • Even after all these years I have always stuck with IPK creator 3 as its the easiest to use.

As found on first post here.

I will use my Xstreamity plugin here as an example

Create a holding folder for all your files to keep everything together.

Now inside that you need 2 folders. CONTROL and another plugin wrapper folder. In my example its called XStreamity.

    - CONTROL
    - XStreamity

In CONTROL folder you need a file called control

Example control file for IPK creator 3.

    Code
    Package: enigma2-plugin-extensions-xstreamity
    Version: 5.23-20260118
    Section: misc
    Priority: optional
    Architecture: all
    Maintainer: kiddac
Description: IPTV Xtream Codes/XUI One playlists player by KiddaC

Inside your plugin folder you need to replicate the enigma2 folder structure. So you need lots of folders in folders. Case sensitive naming.

    XStreamity -> usr -> lib -> enigma2 -> python ->Plugins -> Extensions -> your plugin name -> all your plugin files

    Finally you load ipk creator.

Click the 3 dots and load your parent wrapper folder and select the root of your plugin.

Which should then load your control file info.

Click Create IPK File and save it somewhere.

  • Thanks to the developer, I'll try it, I've never created it successfully before.
