  • I'm sorry I can't help you with tvheadent. I haven't used it for many years, since I had a MOI pro and IKS was flourishing in my country. From what I've read, I understand that it works fine, but I don't know how to configure it.

    OSCam PowerVU Is it working?

This is a long-standing issue, and from what I've read, it was never resolved, and the developers have no intention of fixing it either.
The test logs show "autoroll" for the keys and "ECM found"; everything seems normal, but no image is ever displayed—the screen remains black.

In the early years when I was compiling OSCam, there were PowerVu channels working with EMU on the Astra 4.9 satellite. I was getting a picture with OSCam, but there was no sound. It wasn't decoding. I would cancel OSCam and run PowerVuEmu.3.8.1 instead.

  • If you want to forget about this problem once and for all and make DVB Dream and SmartDVB read the updated autoroll key in the same fraction of a second that OSCam finds it, do the following:

Access your players' folders and delete the SoftCam.Key file located inside them:

    Delete it in: D:\DVBStream\Plugins\PowerVuEmu\SoftCam.Key

    Delete it in: D:\SmartDVB\Plugins\PowerVuEmu\SoftCam.Key

Click the Windows Start menu, type CMD, right-click on "Command Prompt" and select Run as Administrator.

Paste the two commands below (press Enter after each one):

    cmd

    mklink "D:\DVBStream\Plugins\PowerVuEmu\SoftCam.Key" "D:\OSCam-Cygwin\SoftCam.Key"

    Use the code carefully.

    cmd

    mklink "D:\SmartDVB\Plugins\PowerVuEmu\SoftCam.Key" "D:\OSCam-Cygwin\SoftCam.Key"

Where it says dvbstream, it should be dvbdream. With this, the keys generated in the oscam emu can be read by the powervu emu and open the channels in dvbdream and smartdvb. However, you have to remove the softcam key from the Powervu emu plugin folder. I did this, and oscam rolls the keys, and the powervu emu reads them and opens the channels with audio and video.
