    If you do this, I won't do it.

    You've suspended widgets that are included in the source.

    Code
            self["title_main"] = StaticText()
            self["title_version"] = StaticText()
            self["maintener"] = StaticText()
            self["title_loading"] = StaticText(_("Please wait ..."))

    This is a mistake.

    Just an example:

    Code
    <!--
        <widget source="title_loading" render="Label" position="876,534" size="985,56" font="Liberation;34" foregroundColor="#0053a9ff" backgroundColor="#000000" transparent="1" valign="center" zPosition="20" halign="center" />
    -->
     <!-- Button icons
        <widget source="title_version" render="Label" position="1760,990" size="142,70" font="Liberation; 24" foregroundColor="#0053a9ff" backgroundColor="#000000" transparent="1" valign="center" zPosition="10" halign="center"  />
        <widget source="maintener" render="Label" position="819,989" size="136,70" font="Liberation; 24" foregroundColor="#0053a9ff" backgroundColor="#000000" transparent="1" valign="center" zPosition="10" halign="center"  />
    -->

    I can't accept this!

    I made the plugin myself, and credits are necessary and must be visible. That's all.

    Then there's the version and the titles... and anyway, it would give you an error if you debug from Telnet.

    You should know that even an error could block the continuation of the code.

    Then do you complain if a value or something else isn't output?

  • The quick access button displays the plugin version, and the info button shows the credits that mention you.

    This isn't a problem for me; I'll continue adapting it for my personal use so I don't need your graphical interface.

    sure, with other people's asses you can act gay

    I just explained to you that widgets must be in the skin if they are mentioned in the code, and you could have even skipped this rant.

  • I want to point out that I haven't touched any of the graphic elements you created; I've simply tweaked the page layout for aesthetic reasons. You're perfectly welcome to revise your elements to make them less noticeable within the page layout.

    I could very well have kept quiet about what I did.

    YOU DON'T NEED TO PAUSE THOSE WIDGETS, TAKE THEM OFF SCREEN, BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO PAUSE THEM THAT'S WHY YOU DID SOMETHING STUPID.

    and me too before I read you.

    v.1.1.8

    Code
    Custom Skins (New)
    You can customize the look of the plugin by creating your own skin files. The plugin looks for skins in the following order:

    1. **Custom skins** – placed in the plugin folder under `skins_user/<resolution>/`.
    2. **Built‑in skins** – located in `skins/<resolution>/` (with fallback to `hd` if the exact resolution is missing).

    #### How to create a custom skin
    - Create the folder structure inside the plugin directory:

    /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Foreca1/skins_user/

    ├── hd/

    ├── fhd/

    └── wqhd/

  • There's no need to shout or yell.
    I know exactly what I disabled; it was intentional.
    There's no need to display the town name twice in the upper part of the interface, so I removed the information on the left.
    The lighting bar graph doesn't interest me because it shows the percentage value.
    The information update logo has been removed; the date and time text is sufficient.
    In the right-hand section, the repetitive word "Temp" has been removed because the temperature value is enough for me; I know what a temperature value is, I'm not the village idiot.
    The rest is just minor layout tweaks for aesthetic purposes.

    But thank you for granting my request for the skins_user folder.

    Unlike the other friends on the forum, you're really presumptuous about something you didn't do.

    Friends make suggestions, and I consider the request based on the code and then comply... instead, you're a bit arrogant.

    That's all, let's end it here.

    I’d like to clarify a few things, as it seems there has been a misunderstanding—likely due to language barriers, since I rely on Google Translate to communicate.

    First, my intention was never to be arrogant or dismissive. I was simply explaining the personal adjustments I made to the plugin’s interface for my own use. These changes were purely aesthetic (removing redundant information, tweaking layout) and did not affect the core functionality or credits. I never questioned the quality of your work, nor did I intend to offend.

    You mentioned that I "suspended" widgets, but I simply adjusted their visibility in the layout for my personal preferences. I understand your concern about code integrity, and I respect that. However, your reaction—including insults and shouting—was unnecessary. A technical discussion should remain civil, even if opinions differ.

    That said, I appreciate that you ultimately implemented the skins_user folder, which was my original request. I’ll continue to use my personalized version locally, without sharing it, and I’ll avoid further technical debates to prevent any additional misunderstandings.

    Let’s leave it at that. Thank you for your time and for the plugin.

    read here..

    If you read carefully... You suspended the widgets with <!-- -->

    It means the code can't find those items, and if you know how to debug via telnet, you'll notice the error.

    Regards.

    ps
    as for the shouting.. the caps key was locked on the keyboard, never used caps.. even when I get angry.

  • Hello, there is this problem in version 1.1.8: when the program is first started, the foreca directory is created in /tmp/ and everything works normally. After closing the program and starting it again, the /tmp/foreca directory is no longer created and the weather maps do not work. Enigma must be restarted. It is fine in version 1.1.1. I do not have another version to test.

    New version 1.2.0

    - Optional animated icons for weather conditions (e.g., clouds moving, sun pulsing)

    - Automatic detection: if a folder `animated_icons/<code>/` exists, the plugin will cycle through all `.png` frames

    - Customizable frame rate (delay) – currently set to 200 ms

    - Fallback to static icons if no animation folder is found

  • Regarding the optional animated weather icons,

    is the animated_icons/ folder already included in the update, or do I need to do something manually?

    Thanks
