Hello, I installed the OpenATV 8.0 beta version on my DreamBox Two on June 6, 2026. I have a CI+ module and I'm installing enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-ciplushelper_5.8-r3 to watch the CI+ channel. This opens the CI+ channel, but I'm encountering the following error: when navigating through the module channels, the remote control becomes unresponsive for about 3 minutes. After uninstalling enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-ciplushelper_5.8-r3, it works without problems, but the CI+ channel still doesn't open.

Open the Quick Menu: Press the Blue Button on your OpenATV remote.
Access Software Management: Select Software Management (or navigate to Menu > Setup > Software Management). Choose Backup Type:- Complete Firmware Backup (Image Backup): This creates a full system image, including your OS, installed plugins, and current configuration.
- Backup Settings: This saves only your configuration files (like your channel lists and cam settings) to quickly restore later.

You can make a backup on your hdd or usb drive, then transfer it via ftp to your computer.

The instructions above are clear. If you dont understand advice, say what you don't understand instead of waffle. You make the image backup using the remote. The only thing not explicit is that once the backup is made, you transfer it to your PC or anywhere else you want. You cannot make the backup from the PC.
