yeah mate your probaly right, but i don't like their epg program.

so i've now tried overnight build 204 that's crashed the box as well.

try build 151 running fine on my duo clone
CantHackIt!
Just a search in the searchbar....or browsing through the past 24 hours posts would of revealed this mate!
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…ew-vu-drivers-clones.html
From Build .155 (vix) and 1.7.5(BH) basically any of the images released in past week or 2 carries new Vu Drivers and Anti-Clone measures....hence the reason you may be seeing problems!
Re-Install original VU Image link below (Clone image)
http://www.resicon.co.uk/VUDUOOriginalImageCLONE.zip
Then once you have done that put any BH or Vix Image released upto .155 (vix) and 1.7.5(BH)
BH Good Backup by Mckee

Vix Good backup by Myself lol
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…p-image-vu-duo-mrgmx.html
Hopefully that should get you sorted....and sit tight for a fix with new images on Clones!
PS When reflashed final image disable Auto Updates as they will want to update you onto latest image with Drivers that will crash Duo again!
yeah but i've got an original not a clone, never did say i had a clone.
Sorry mate, my Bad!
If you still got a problem just reflash the original image my link was for a clone but I know Caz put original link
on a post yesterday/day before!
Put the original Vu image on it then reinstall image of your choice! If it's a real one you should be ok
with new builds I'd probably stay away from .191 and .209 as they may not be stable! Vix seem to putting out an image a day at moment
so they must not be to stable???
thanks mate
i put build 190 on and disabled unstable updates it's working perfect so far.

I think with the new addition of the Vix nightly build image its pretty much the same as OpenPLI nightly builds none are tested and so you are the guinea pig so to speak, I know they do release the odd bit of info explaining which of the nightly builds is stable but its too late if you have already got a pre-test build on your machine.
yes mate totally agree just to add it seems that build 204 was causing the problem for me.
i'd really recommend not updating to it.
