default skin deleted please help

Once you delete something from the image its permanent, the only way to get the DM500HD out of bootloop at this stage is to FTP the default skin back again.

You need to tell us which image you were using so we can try to find the default skin.

You could always just reflash a new image which will solve the problem.

Were you using openpli, dream elite etc, on the "loading Enigma2" screen you should have markings to tell who actually made the image you were using.

Can you be more specific on which version of dream elite, knowing this will make it much easier for us to find the correct skin for you.

If you are not sure which version it was, take a look through the DM500 HD section and try to find the image.

Is this what your default skin looked like ?

Extract the attached file and FTP the DMConcinnity-HD-Mod folder to /usr/share/enigma2, you may need to change permission on this folder to 755.

Attached is the full skin with all dependencies needed, FTP all the files to the correct folders overwriting anything if needed.

Then i`m afraid you may need to reflash a new image, a good lesson learned today, don`t delete anything, renaming is alot safer way if you are unsure which skins are which.
