Anyone recommend a good usenet provider?
Giganews remove HBO stuff pretty quickly and Astraweb starting to having lots of incompletes for me.
I use a a blocknews account for backup.

You could try thundernews.com i used to be a astraweb customer but there crap now

i use astraweb thought they didn't block because they korean some companies are resellesers not them and there main servers get told to delete certain things

I use ngroups with astraweb as a block account,
never used any of the block account yet as all as download fine on ngroups and not bad at £5 a month -
I only noticed a problem with astraweb lately. i.e try getting any of the 1st two movies in the batman trilogy.

I never got into the usenets, really and still haven't I did give them ago briefly but didn't seem to yeild productive results maybe it was the provider I used.

went with XS Usenet - Free Usenet provider in the end. Their premium package.
So far so good. -
.ssl-news is my new home as astraweb was removing files like most news servers are but sll as been spot on so far no removed files by dmca
