Hi all, I have a vu duo running ViX 2.4 and i was wondering how i set it up to use a sly card instead of a server...... Can someone please tell me how this is done. I've done it before on an openbox s11, I have my nds boxkey generated ready to add just unsure how to do it... Thanks in advance for any help

Install the latest oscam-CCcam 2.1.3 from HERE - ViX Softcam Collection.
FTP the oscam configs and CCcam.cfg from HERE - How to : Oscam Server or Cardreader with CCcam2.1.3 S*Y UK.
Place sly card in the top cardreader on DUO, restart oscam and CCcam, no need to add boxkey to the configs.

You can either do a factory reset and setup the box again from scratch, should only take a few minutes to do, or search the plugins downloads for a password changer plugin

Your firewall isnt blocking your ftp program?
If it aint looks like your going to have to reflash

Thanks mate, I found the password reset option in tspanel, i did it then restarted the box and tried again to ftp to it using username ' root ' and password either ' password ', ' dreambox ' or leave it blank..... none of these work.....
password is 'linuxsat-support'
well, if you are using the backup image that 2bagstew suggested it is, anyway!

I've not used the vix image, I prefer the blackhole images
Have you tried - root - vuduo -
normay bh is linuxsat or linuxsat-support or vuplus somes times ddc block restar your computer
