HP Pavilion DV6000 overheating

  • I have a HP Pavilion DV 6000 however it seems to be overheating excessively.


    Ive looked online and it seems its a common issue, im just wondering if it would be worthwhile getting it reflowed, or selling it as is?

  • Well that depends on whether you have a use for it....how much time you have on your hands......and do you like fixing/opening things up lol!


    You could start with a cleanout with some compressed air and see if that helps
