  • Main Stuff would be

70/80/90 Soul, Funk and Motown.....apparently conceived on it lol
Do like a bit of Conscious Rap (Sorry Ricochet)
The Old R n B actual Rhythm and Blues and the more Modernised stuff from the past 10/15 years!
Catch myself singing along to various Oldies before my time for some reason so my ear must like that!
Funky House.....always needed when concentrating or Running!

Like beats so anything Funky with Substance and a groove normally suits!

Bit of Reggae as its in the blood lol but sometimes even that BASS is to much lol!

Don't really do the Modern Stuff/Pop e.t.c all sounds the same....but nowadays a lot of music does.....bring back the oldies anyday!

Quiet strange this topic as im organising a Christening for my boys and the Music list is all but sorted now!

Just 70/80/90 Soul, Funk and R and B me thinks!

    Cheers Banny lol

  • Well I am a muso as you know - listen to myself a bit lol seriously - my biggest influences are Pink Floyd, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Used to listen to a lot of G & R when I was younger - REM got played a lot too, Also Nirvana, Stone Roses, some brit pop etc etc. Also listened to electronic well produced stuff, anything produced by William Orbit used to go down well...

Beatles, Dire Straights, Duran Duran, the list goes on.

Nowadays, You will find Audioslave, Foo Fighters and gorillaz (I used to like Blur too!) in my car CD player.

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    :red:

  • genesis, dire straits, pink floyd, and flock of seagulls were what i listened to most years back now tend to listen to kings of leon, foo fighters and the maccabees

  • Punk Rock 1976-1982 is still a passion of mine but anything from the 70s is ok by me. Everything since has been a bit of an
anti-climax for me. Last record I heard that made me sit up and get excited was 'Freaking Out' By Graham Coxon which was
put out in about 2004? *sigh*
