Hi, I was messing about with the remote and Ultimo and found a software update
and pressed ok and now the box is stuck in reboot. Vix 3.0 image installed,what
can i do now ?

Have you tried unplugging it, leaving it for 2/3 minutes and then plugging back in?

If that don't work did you make a backup? May need to re-flash?
Did you install a 'unstable' update?

Today's update didn't worked for me either on Duo, i am doing a reflash right now. Lucky i had a backup.

build 282 failed which has caused the bootloop. also we (ViX) recently added a feature to provide you with the option to automatically create a full settings backup and image backup as part of the update process it self, for this very eventuality.

Yes i noticed the option to make a backup before the upgrade, a very good ideea. To be safe i set the allow unstable updates to NO.

Thanks for the replys,i did a reflash and it detected a backup and gave me three options
but the one i tried didn't work and i've been away all day so i have'nt got around to trying
anything else, will do later.George did you get going again? -
No i did not, i reflashed and i will not update it until a more stable version is released.

When i reflash i finish up with the startup screen and the box rebooting,
no other buttons on remote work.
