    Any suggestions please?
    is my smargo card faulty?

  • after lots more researching it seems i have a conflict :
usbfs: interface 0 claimed by ftdi_sio while 'brltty' sets config #1
i removed this, by apt-get remove brltty. rebooted and now i get CARDOK[9 Entitlements] on oscam..

but cccam still not seeing the card, even thought i added :
    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+ to SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB9 smartreader+ in the CCcam.cfg file.

not sure if this was the right thing todo, if anyone else had experienced this, please let me know.

    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+ to SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB9 smartreader+ in the CCcam.cfg file.

oscam is the cardreader in your setup so CCcam will not see the card entitlements, remove the SERIAL READER : configs you have from CCcam.cfg.

If there are still errors from oscam log show us them...

How To See Your Card Entitlements When Using Oscam

  • Hello and thanks for reply.
I think oscam is correct, as i dont have any errors.. it lists tier info, with expiry dates..
Same with entitlements, i will show tier info with start/end dates.. the information is meaningless to me at the mo, and couldnt find a screen shot of what it should look like, but im guessing its all ok

I removed the SERIAL READER lines from the CCcam.cfg file now. is there an example of what the CCcam file should look like with my setup.. to be honest i done a lot of trial and errors trying to get past the card reader problems i was having.

It should look like below, with an N line connecting oscam, as i havn`t seen your oscam configs i don`t know what the N line should look like...

  • CCCam is the same as yours,

    my oscam files are:

should i see an active card still on the CCcam web interface?
as im still getting just :
    Server connections: 1

    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
    | Host | Connected | Type | Version| NodeID | Cards | CAID/Idents |
    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
    |127.0.0.1:34001 | |newcamd| | | 0 | |
    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+

    • Official Post

    The [newcamd] port you are using is 10000, so your N line should look like below;

    Code
    N: 127.0.0.1 [COLOR='#FF0000']10000[/COLOR] linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

You should see CCcam client linuxsat connecting in oscam webinfo..

    And in CCcaminfo like below;

    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
    | Host | Connected | Type | Version| NodeID | Cards | CAID/Idents |
    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
    |127.0.0.1:10000 | |newcamd| | | 7 | |
    +----------------------+------------+-------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+

  • Arh misses that port settings...
Changed it, and now its connected !!

Now i just need to add my friends and families account.
Can u point me to the correct guide for my setup.. or give me examples.

    Thanks Master G

  • Thanks Master G, all up and running, didnt realise that bit was so simple.

Gunna restart from the beginning now, the bit which screwed me the most was the error conflict : [ 6.683229] usb 6-2: usbfs: interface 0 claimed by ftdi_sio while 'brltty' sets config #1

maybe Ten Below can mention this in his guide.

    Appreciate your time :mrg:
