have you put the line in correct Jim,if so try restarting your cam or reboot the box
-
Stupid Q first!
Have you your box connected to the net with an ethernet lead/wi-fi bridge?
(Had to ask but i know well you do!)
The more obvious solution is that the kind fellow who gave you the cline, his server could be offline!
If your sure it is correctly entered, that could be the answer!

Everything good this side, have just checked on another box and connects straight away.Make sure the lines in correct Jim ie the C must be a capital and after each part of a line leave a space. ie C: me.playthegame.org 12000 test1 test1.thats it

Checked cline ok, reboot dreambox and restarted cam and still the same
-
Make sure cccam is selected as the default cam and running, blue select cccam then ok to start.
There may be a fault in your cfg. Can you post it here, ( without passwords and port numbers obviously ) so we can see if there are any errors.

Hi Jim, only a quick thought, What software package did you use to edit the config? If it was a DOS based package like "Notepad" then as an example, line 1 would look like this when using the Dreambox unix editor Vi.
C: abcd.dyndns.tv 12000 abc 12345 no { 0:0:3 }^MIt could be this 'Control M' (^M) at the end of the line that is causing the problem. The ^M does not show when viewing as HTML.
