Hi Everyone
Hope this is not a stupid question but is there a frequency list for channels on 28.2E the reason being missing a few channels on my VU done a scan but does not seem to pick the missing channels up.

Look at the tabs on the nav bar lyngsat/kings of sat. If you are missing any of them then update your satellites xml file using the tab next to them.

Easiest way to check is download an up to date sat xml file,using the tab above and compare it to the one in your box, It wont do any harm to update anyway.Hope this helps.

Click the Sat XML link at the top of this forum then click the Choose tab and select 28.2e and download the new satellites.XML file.
Upload it to your box.
If you've got motorised, select more sats at the same time.Simples

Right downloaded the file when i upload it to the vu does it need to go in a certain folder.

The satellites.xml file will go into folder /etc on the vuplus.

Yes. There will already be a satellites.xml file, so overwrite it.
On my Eagle box its in var/etc/ but my box runs enigma1. I think its different on enigma2.Once you've sent the file, reboot box, then scan the satellite.
