oscam cccam settings

  • Installed ubuntu 12.0.4 64 bit oscam 64 bit and cccam 64 bit server ran perfect for a week now its gone haywire oscam works as i can use nline and works perfectly if i try cline cant get it to connect have checked the port forwarding port 12000 is open but server refuses connection to 12000 even stranger if i change the oscam.config to 12005 instead of 12000 change the port forward to 12005 and try that i can get a cline to connect after reading i see a lot of dont use 12000 is this the reason

    Any ports described in the Tutorials e.t.c should be changed to something of your choice and not left as default!


    Ensure all ports are open for the ones you choose....bare in mind some port numbers are reserved so don't conflict with those!


    and Restart router/server when making changes!

  • Hi mrgmx thanks for the quick reply, thought i had already introduced my self seems i haven't will do that now.
    changed to 12005 and worked unsure as to why 12000 didn't work even though port forward was setup to 12000 and it had worked fine for a week will see if 12005 stops working again in a week.
    gonna try the auto install incase its something iv'e done wrong with the config

  • Could be anything mate, router updates or the like?


    Change all ports/usernames and passwords to something you make up your end, one of the steps to making a safe server!
