  • Hi, how to check witch FPGA firmware version you have on VU+Uno, i would like to know if i should update it or not! I have Black Hole image 1.7.2 on the box..thank you in advance :)

  • i have been looking into where to find info on firmware version,,, /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/FPGAUpgrade but it didnt show..
    TS PRO.dat is the name..
since bh 172 ,there has been an upgrade so cant see it doing any harm to go to
menu/plugins/FPGA Upgrade and make sure you have the most recent... it can take about 5-7 mins
remember a full reboot is required after it..

  • There is currently no way that i know of to check the FPGA version loaded to the receiver, although i'm not 100 percent sure if a bootlog would but i highly doubt so. as for the folder to select, just navigate to the directory where you have the FPGA file saved to for example i always place mine on a Mounted USB stick and update it from there.
