    Hi, does somebody know why its now ONLY possible on Solo2 machine with BlackHole 2.1.4 to record one channel while viewing another with CCcam2.30?? If i am using CCcam version 2.13/2.14 or 2.21 i cannot record while viewing channels, but with earlier versions of BlackHole image (2.0.1 and backward) there was no problem at all...what is the reason for that?

    I hope someone knows something about this issue since i know more people dealing with this issue. Thanks a lot in advance!

    regards...

    Hi, yesterday i got help from Master G. to get my card detected in my omnikey reader in oscam...and we succeeded so far :) But then i noticed that my ecm times is pretty high i think.. around 430-490ms all the time, and this is on a well powered HP pc with a clean install of ubuntu x64 and clean oscam install and a almost new bought omnikey reader (my card is viasat N*S 090F)

    I have only my livingroom box connected in oscam via cccam..so only on single peer for oscam to handle!?!

    Is anyone having knowledge why the ecm time is so high then??

    Thanks ahead for any help!

    able2... first, Thank you very much for trying helping me out. I tried to do as you described in above post and to my big surprise, i had already edited the PCSC Daemon file (pcscd) in /init.d ...BUT her's what i discovered:

    My code lines did look like this before getting your post:
    # if you need to pass arguments to pcscd edit to:
    # /etc/default/pcscd and add a line
    DAEMON_ARGS="-e"

    But yours did look like this (see small difference in last line):
    # if you need to pass arguments to pcscd you should edit the file
    # /etc/default/pcscd and add a line
    DAEMON_ARGS="-"error"

    So which one is more right than the other? And am i not right that these code lines in the pcscd file, is used for stopping never-ending log messages from pacs reader!?! -at least this is what the author of the Tuto is saying...http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=1712

    But summa sumara is that after reboot with your posted code lines i got the omnikey reader to detect the card for the first time :thumb::thumb: -but then after normal oscam restart from webif, the reader could not detect card again or maybe oscam could not detect reader! Have you any idea what to do from here mate?

    able2 ...i tried to do so, and this is what Oscam is saying now:

    The red color text...does that mean i should put other Device number to reader? i have 6 usb ports on pc, but don't know which usb port number this omnikey have if you can follow me? :)

    Hi, i have a clean installed ubuntu server 12.04, then compiled oscam binary with Simplebuild.

    Then next i installed almost everything possible with PCSC for Omnikey readers ("opensc pcscd libccid" + "pcsc-tools" + "libpcsc-lite") then rebooted linux, but my Vi*sat 090F card is not detected in oscam??

    Only thing i have not installed, is Omnikey driver since i got told that was not really necessary to have them working at first!?!

    I have tried most Omnikey guides here on forum, but i just can't get it to work..i really hope someone with knowledge could help here...ANY help appreciated very much :)

    @everyone with Linux knowledge...
    What is the different of the two startup script options for ubuntu server:

    1: edit file "rc.local" in /etc on linux server which some people advice
    2: edit file (named "oscam") in /etc/init.d/ as for example desribed on osacm wiki.

    what is the difference Upside/downside for these two types??

    Hope someone can explain to get clarification on this option :)

    Thanks ahead..

    UPDATED: after more insight knowledge from a linux buddy, i now know that the solution nr. 2 in above post is the best way to get oscam to startup with boot. That's because you make the "oscam" script in /etc/init.d/ to be a linux system service with the command:"sudo update-rc.d oscam defaults" and then it always starts up with your linux system.

    script file is attached...remember to rename file to "oscam" and FTP to /etc/init.d/ and chmod to 755. Also your oscam bin file should be in /usr/bin with this script and not /usr/locale/bin.

    code in script file:

    somebody kind...how to start simplebuild script once again..? I have compiled my oscam bin file and all...but would like to start simple build script again to get familiar with it, but no matter what i type in terminal, it will not start (have tried "./simplebuild menu" and "./simplebuild" and cd /opt -> cd simple build and more..but no succes :(

    Hope someone can help me and others watching this thread... regards

    Okay but i don't have that parameter in my web... (se my oscam.config) but if would like to update oscam bin file as an option...would this make the web go back to standard Streamboard oscam webif layout?

    PS: i think this is a Giani8127 edition oscam without knowing for sure :(

    Hi all, how to find the latest Oscam bin file with PCSC support for x64 platform, when they all only have LIBUSB support on Oscam download site? If anyone can guide me or maybe share there Oscam bin file with me...i would be very glad and humbled for that!

    Thanks ahead for any help :)

    Hi all...i search a guide or some help to upgrade Oscam on a Vu+ with BlackHole image. I DO KNOW how to manually upgrade with FTP OScam bin-file to bin folder...but if you do it this way, then the version DON'T change in "Black Hole Blue Panel" window?? So if you have upgraded manually from etc. version 6059 to 8639..then BlackHole STILL SHOW the old version 6059 in the Black Hole Blue Panel window! So does anybody know what is the RIGHT way to upgrade to the latest OScam.with IPK file or?? and where to find so? :) Thanks ahead for any help!
