Is it possible to have 2 dm500 boxes operating as separate servers from the same Internet connection, I have tried but only 1 seems to connect ok.
2 dm500 servers from one Internet connection ?

Of course it is, both will need seperate ports forwarded but no problem doing this.

Ok thanks ten, the one I have working now is using the Gemini 4.7, with all the ports as default to the image, if I use the same image on the next box do I change the ports in the cccam config 12000, 16001, 10001 to different ports and do I need a separate dyndns address

Only the server listen port (12000) needs to be changed on the second box, you can use a the same dns or a different one if you like it will work either way.

Ok thanks, didn't realise it was that simple, that's probably why I couldn't find any info on it lol, thanks again for your time ten

Your 2nd Dm500 will also need a diff I.P
A good idea is to stay away from default ports on both servers too? -
You don't need two different ports on your dreamboxes. You do need two different ports on your router. Your router should be able to translate the incoming requests to the seperate IPs, using the same ports wont matter once you have two seperate IPs. Just in case you don't want to change the listening ports on your DM500s.

just to clear up what might be confusing, different INTERNAL IPs...
for example : 192.168.1.68 and the other box on 192.168.1.69.. -
