dvbsnoop for AutoBouquets E2 28.2E on HDMU E2 Alien 2

Extract dvbsnoop from zip file and ftp across to usr/bin change permissions for this file to 777

Extract autobouquets.zip and ftp the directory Autobouquets to usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/
Change permissions of the Autobouquets file to 755

Then restart Enigma2 and then go to Plugins and you should see Autobouquets installed.

Some IPK's will not install on Alien2 as they are designed for a different architecture

Do you know if i link them to fav button on remote,

If you want to link it to FAV button on the remote then you need to look at Keymap.xml file as a start ... search there for KEY_FAVORITES and you can see what it is currently mapped to ... be careful what you do though as you could potentially break the button mapping ..so make a back up of the file before doing anything else.

I don't think IL chance it just yet,
just taught there might be an easier way,

i did everything as described but when i run autobouquet it says "permission denied"
im using Tm-2t on 4d image

I had the same problem and I sorted, it works like a charm:40_002:

Just change permissions for this file autobouquets e2_sh in the Autobouquets directory from 644 changed to 777 NOT 755 as it says above

Autobouquets is installed under the plugins and I Got all UK bouquets

hello guys can someone help me please managed to get the hdmu image sorted also managed to get oscam working now i just need the favourites set or autobouquets
also do you guys know if these boxes (alien 2)can work like ***+ watch one channel and record from another
thank you in advance i really feel depressed as im not able to get this fixed tried all of the above and no luck

you need autobouqets ipk for sh4 if installing to alien box....check it out here......http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=18085
install autobouqets ipk to box....also ftp dvbsnoop to usr/bin and change attributes to 755
