  • Having installed the AMIKO_ALIEN2_1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade and installed an enigma 2 image.

Have I only installed the 1.2.51 version purely to upgrade the bootloader and now i can do what i want?

Basically can I upgrade spark to the latest 1.2.61 version or do I have to stick with the 1.2.51?

  • Hi,

Actually I'm using the latest spark firmware (1.2.61), and never installed an E2 image or the AMIKO_ALIEN2_1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade on this box (don't know if the local distributor did it before sell it).
Before install an E2 image, should I downgrade the spark image AMIKO_ALIEN2_1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade, or do you suggest to do something else?

    Thanks,
    pikkia

If you plan to install E2 images it´s a must to install first the AMIKO_ALIEN2_1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade image. Once you install it you can update to the latest Amiko firmware or install an E2 image.
