  • ok now where do i begin, big thanks to everyone for the help they hve given me.

    Lastly in webif fopr oscam where it says "cardok" next to it it says "8 entitlements" when i hover above this it is giving me various numbers and expiry dates? What are these expire dates? How do i update them? I dont have a *** box at the moment.....dont ask water and electronics dont mix

  • The expiry dates are for when your card entitlements (subscribed channels) finish / due

    You will need to setup Oscam to update entitlements for the card you are using! Have a look in link below When done you wont need a slybox to update as your server/reciever will do it for you

    When done, Entitlements normally update 3/4 weeks before but can be done within 48hrs of them expiring if worst comes to the worst!

  • How can I update entitlements? In my oscam.user file I have account 1 au set to the same name as the au in server config file. I have read this is the way to auto update it.for example au= slyuk in oscam.user and au=slyuk in server.config For other accounts in oscam.user can I set a different name for au then to the one in my server.config file?what difference does it make if it is the same for all accounts?

    oscam.user

    user = testuser1
    pwd = test1
    group = 1
    uniq = 0

    au = ***uk
    caid = 0963
    ident = 0963:000000

    [account]
    user = *****
    pwd = *****
    group = 1
    au = ***uk
    cccmaxhops = 2
    cccreshare = 0

    [account]
    user = testuser3
    pwd = test3

    au = ***uk

  • If you are using CCcam on the client receiver, then what I would suggest is that you use a cline to update your entitlements. You already have CCcam protocol set up on oscam.conf, so all you need to do is set up an account in oscam.user I have found that nlines don't seem to work so well if at all - you can set up an account in oscam.user similar to what you have set up already for the nline - and you just enusre this has 0 reshare so it is only seen by your local receiver. Leave overnight on a channel your card clears, and ensure you have no interruptions such as epg updats or reboots, recordings etc for a good few hours each night, and be patient.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    When you say 0 reshare, would the C line look like this then?

    C: server.dns.com portnr username password no (0:0:0)
