  • Hi
    Could anyone tell me if you want to share a card throughout a home network using a server STB and a number of peers whether you need to open any specific ports in your router? I'm using Oscam with Cccam on an Amiko Alien 2 running Spark with plugins.
    F lines in Cccam.cfg.
    Basically can you use any port and if so would that port normally need to be opened on the router? Mine's a Thomson router from Plusnet.
    Thanks

    No need to open any ports for LAN sharing buddy, just replace your dns with the server machines internal ip.

  • Great...thanks....
    So what port do you enter in the Cline?
    F lines are just:
    F: user pass
    F: user2 pass2
    right?
    Cheers again!

    Just enter whatever port you have specified in your cccam.cfg By defauly its usually 12000

    e.g.

    Code
    SERVER LISTEN PORT : [COLOR='#FF0000']12000[/COLOR]

    Yep, for trusted internal shares you would not need any security on your Flines so what you have above is OK.

  • Thanks Guys!
    I've copied and pasted the settings below. Should they work ok with the F lines?
    Do I have to insert "SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000" anywhere below?
    Sorry for lack of knowledge!

    No - my server box (Amiko Alien 2 with Sly card) is running Oscam and the third party boxes are Technomate and Eaglebox (Cccam or Newcamd capability) with appropriate firmware installed. (I've had them working before on premium share.)

    I only need to connect the third party boxes to the Amiko on the home network.
    Cheers!

    No problem you just need to enable CCcam protocol for cline or use newcamd to create nline in the Amiko, try this

    Oscam.conf

    Code:

    oscam.server

    oscam.user

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = jaxo
    pwd                           = isaknob
    group                         = 1
    caid                          = 0963
    ident                         = 0963:000000
    keepalive                     = 1
    au                            = lower card

    For Cline in client:

    C: ipofAmiko 12000 jaxo isaknob

    For nline

    N: ipofAmiko 10000 jaxo isaknob 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    e.g 192.168.1.10

    You can remove the unused protocol from oscam.conf in red or green above and of course change the username & passwords to your own if you wish.:laugh:

  • Right
    I've managed to get all of my peer boxes to connect to my Amiko Alien2.
    However none of the channels clear...... But they still do on the Amiko.
    Also I have to keep turning off cccam, turning off oscam, turning on cccam and then turning on oscam after a reboot.
    Getting closer !!!???
