  • Hi Guys.

    Im sorry if this has been asked 100s of times but I cant seem to find the answer. I have a vu solo2 running the latest vix but mgcamd seems to be acting up. Personally i prefer oscam but the lines i use are n-line in CWS format.

    My question is can I use a line like this -----> CWS = thisismyserver 15221 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in Oscam to make the channels clear. If I can then how can I do this and also add CWS_MULTIPLE = thisismyserver 15221 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in Oscam IF NEEDED. Thanks in advance.

  • Nlines and Clines can be converted to work in oscam.server as client, info is on here.

    And no, it is not added like this.

    CWS_MULTIPLE = thisismyserver 15221 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

  • Hi guys.

    Sorry to be asking this if you can help Please.

    What i can not seem to do is get my mgcamd server to send a reader to oscam, above these settings are for sending a line to mgcamd from oscam, I ask can i send a line from mgcamd to oscam and how please. and in which file in mgcamd do i put the user please.

    regards Talks.

  • Mgcamd doesn't work as a server, it's a client only emulator.

    Thanks for a fast answer master G, so how would my local card that is in oscam,, update if mgcamd is a client to oscam please i am trying to see where i am going wrong here. maybe i am going wrong somewhere because looking at the post above your showing a reader in oscam that i assume is from the mgcamd, but where is the corresponding line to the reader go in the mgcamd files?

    thanks.

  • The mgcamd client sends emm's to oscam that will update entitlements.
    Are you using a Linux pc or receiver as server ?

    thanks again master G,

    I am using a vu solo2 as the oscam, and a dm800se as mgcamd so two dif ip's set to each stb.

    192,xxxxx 100 < dm800 mgcamd
    192,xxxxx 106 < vusolo oscam

    The attached configs will update your card without the need for mgcamd.. If you also want to use mgcamd add [newcamd] to oscam.conf, setup an [account] for mgcamd, then add CWS line to the dm800se client..

    oscam.conf

    Code
    [newcamd]
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    port = 10000@0963:000000

    oscam.user

    Code
    [account]
    user = mgcamd
    pass = password
    group = 1
    au = SKYUK

    newcamd.list

    Code
    CWS = 192.xxxxx.100 10000 mgcamd password 0102030405060708091011121314
  • An n-line in CWS format still uses newcamd protocol, add a remote newcamd reader in oscam server like this;

    Code
    [reader]
    label = my cws line converted
    protocol  = newcamd
    key       = 0102030405060708091011121314
    device    = thisismyserver,15221
    user      = test
    password  = test
    group     = 2

    THANK YOU!

    That settings work perfect with mgcamd, but with litle diferece:

    Code
    [reader]
    label     = thisismyserver,converted
    protocol  = newcamd
    key       = 0102030405060708091011121314
    device    = thisismyserver,15221
    user      = test
    password  = test
    group     = 1
