    I have had one or two wifii issues with black spots in our old house and was thinking of purchasing some home plugs to possibly resolve the issue, could anyone recommend a suitable model, or a possible alternative??

    The best alternative would be to run cat5 cable from router to rooms with WiFi black spots, that is a bit of hassle but once it is done you will be a very happy camper.
    Even the best & most expensive WiFi or Homeplugs could not compete with a simple wired connection
