DM500hd Ferrari Clone

    Hi guys


    My DM500 HD has started acting silly. It now wont boot. It keeps booting to ip screen. Ive checked to see if the button is stuck but it isn't. Not sure what to do next. Ive tried flashing a few images via optiflasher but keeps doing the same.


    I hope i have explained this well. The DM500 HD has no screen so to get a ip address to flash via web browser before flashing you have to hold the power button then switch the power on, the box boots to a black screen with green writing which gives you the ip the box is using. My box now keeps booting to this screen. It was fine last night, put in standy and woke up this morning to this problem.


    Id really appreciate some help please guys as I thought flashing the box would solve this. I am flashing the box with a ssl87 image as that's the bootloader the box has.

    Im feeling like i may have to bin this, no 1 seems to of had this problem

    I would suspect the PSU may be faulty. The box might not be getting enough power to boot up. Can you try a PSU from another box? If after you have tried another PSU and if it is still the same then try to reflash another image to it using dreamup.

    You would be better off using one of the Powerboard Ferrari images as these are written by the team for that box. They are not modified aftermarket images like others.
