Which box do I buy?

Hello all, I'm in need of a receiver. As I have just told $k¥ where to go.

I'd like a Linux receiver that I will be able to mess around with and try my hand at using cams.

For me, I'd like to be able to - do something like the 'youview' feature,
browse the web on occasion
Use as a pvr with good epg
Must be at a minimum a twin tuner

The box must be easy to use once set-up, for the kids and her indoors.

I've looked at gigablue 800 hd ue, vu+ solo2, and some icecrypt boxes. I don't mind spending 300 odd quid on a box, but what else do I need to program a gold card or something? Also, can I just use my existing hd dish?

So, what would you recommend???

I think I've narrowed it down to the gigablue quad or the vu+solo2.

Can these boxes do the -7 day epg (on demand?) thing that the humax fires at boxes can?
