router problems

  • If you have messed with the router IP, you should still be able to log in through:
    192.168.100.1


    From windows run command prompt and type ipconfig, you should see something like this:

       IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.125

       Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : [COLOR='#FF0000']192.168.1.1[/COLOR]


    Your gateway is your router IP, put that in your browser address bar!

    I just reset me router
    it was a strange 1 I thought I changed a port number then couldn't log into my router last resort as I said was reset it which to it to default and set it up again
    a bit of a hassle but hay ho

    Not sure what your issue was there mate but i would change your routers default password due to what you are actually doing on your network..it is always advisable to do that anyway if you have not done this already.


    Just make sure you remember what you changed your default password to tho or you will find yourself having to complete another factory reset:(
