setanta stoped working

    i have had setanta card running in a pc server for ages now never had a problem until last week when it stoped reading it
    all the Entitlements are there and upto date but when i ask it to clear the channel i get the following

    i have not had the card in the *** reciver so it has not had the new pairing system implomented

    anyone no how to get it back on i dont want to put it back in reciver as it might add the new pairing to it

    If your card was registered in ROI, Premier sports should also clear but I think that C7A7,C7A8,C7A9 are Setanta Ireland, Setanta Sports1 & Premier Sports..
    I had this issue with my setanta card when AU was not on constantly, I got my card back clearing by simply putting it in a box with dvbapi enabled..


    Another thing to check is that Loadbalancer has not blocked the channels, go to Config / Loadbalancer & down the bottom clear Stats, Timeouts & Not Founds and try again

    Definately a strange one this as i have never had any bother with setanta or 0963 for that matter but as thatfellow says a new emm might freshen the card up and bring it back to life.


    This log tho mate was this copied from the server recently or was it when the problem occurred a week ago because i will tell you what it also looks like..for instance if a live gaa event(irish football) is being broadcasted and you DO NOT subscribe to premier sports then setanta will show the not subscribed message in the oscam log with the end result of a black screen during the match.


    I,m not sure if its still happening with certain events like gaa but this was certainly the case a few months ago anyway.

    I never knew about this, but if it is the case it would also explain LB Blocking the SID, you might have to add it to LB Whitelist to prevent this happening agin j0nesy

    It is a subscription issue(this was the case a few months ago) so i dont think anything can be adjusted in oscam for this although i dont watch gaa also


    jonsey if your issue is still the same? then its nothing to do with what i was talking about regarding sub issues which i thought could have been the case due to us not knowing when this log had been copied...as thatfellow says try dvapi...its not what i use but if setup correctly it works well.Also what method have you been using to update your card in the past anyway.

    I also have the same problem here mate , had a irish registered card full package & setanta , have had it running for a year or so now and I always used it in oscam , when it needed an update I put it in cccam a week or so before entitelments ran out and it always updated no problem , but the last update it got it shows all entitlelments to November but wont open any channels only a few here and there , its like a wrong boxkey in cccam if you get my drift , let me know how you get on and I will keep you posted here on my outcome , problem I got now is that I have misplaced the box it was tied to during a move which had not got the new s/w on it, so I am uo s##t creek at the min without a paddle

    it has always updated in oscam pc server and never had a problem with it only last sat noticed it not working the logs i put up were off the dm800 i have put it in to try and update it like thatfellow said no luck upto now
    can i ask what channel do you use to update your card i have left it on *** 1 for the past day i do have sly box but dont want to put the card in it

    Any channel m8, there is no better or worse channel for getting emm updates. On your DM800, have you dvbapi enabled?
    One thing not to do is keep swapping around the card, make sure your configs are 100% and sit tight!

    after all this messing around phoned the shop where i bought the card from and he tells me setanta have turned all the 12m prepaid cards off and when i asked about a refund he just hung up
    only got the card in april so theres £350 down the drain thanks for all the help anyway
