sharing my uk card

    I have my ordinary uk card which i want to share with friends and family (maybee 10 - 15 people). I also want to exchange this card with other people so i can get some euro channels for my motorised set up. Can my uk card suspect i am card sharing, and if so how? I am going to put my cardshare server on a seperate pc so what are my limit on shares before it will become unstable? I am on a good fast bt-infinity fibre line so speed shouldnt be an issue.

    Meekatron you've missed the boat for sharing a 5ky UK card. They are in the middle of tightening up the encryption to prevent CS of 5ky UK. Even if you do get it set up its unlikely it will last for long before the lot goes off.


    As for 5ky finding out if your sharing its unlikely however as with anything in this hobby the risk is always there no matter how remote it is.

    Are they trying to pair the cards with the recievers? I have a couple of old cards lying around i was concidering putting sentanta sprots onto. I havent even taken out my subscription with 5ky yet. Hope it stays ok for a while yet. Is this the same thing that ****HD have done?

    They are trying to hardware pair the cards to the receivers in the same sort of way as Total TV and Dolce TV did within the last two years.


    Dolce and Total TV have been black screen for quite a while now.

    I could be wrong but i dont think setanta is paired...NOT paired like many other channels..racing etc....only sports/movies/hd /////sly could quite easily pair all channels if they wanted too...the question is why they have not done this?
