flash factory image , light on box will be red until firmware loaded then it will turn flashing green when complete , remove the usb stick from front off the box and power the box off, power it up again and from the menu do a factory reset , then flash again

How bricked is the box? What image did you try to flash to the box?..i would lay off serial programming attempts just now until you figure out what might have went wrong with your flash!

install this oe 2.1 image onto your usb stick.
then try flashing through the recommended method.
If it hangs ,leave it be...as your worst mistake was to take out the usb whilst in the flashing process..

you could try and put the bootloader on 1st , i remember a while back i had a simlar problem like this and this solved it.

I used the above bootloader on a mates bricked vu solo it worked a treat. I tried loads of images / fixes and before trying this nothing else worked, cheers nobby11
