Hallo everyone
I have a DM 500 HD with 4 Disecq switch and I selected 1.0 in Disecq mode; the setting is working with Ipbox 900hd but when I switched the same setting to DM 500 HD (with any image) it is not working: every time when I switched channel of 4th satellite to another satellite - TUNE FAILED message appears. I need to go to Tuner setting and select the required satellite and click OK and than channel appears; only the 4th satellite always is working.
Who can help me?
Dreambox 500 hd and 4 disecq

Stands a chance that the reciver doesn't like the DISEqC switch. Its not that uncommon.
I have a cheapo Konig switch which works fine with my daughters nBox, but my Gigablues and my DM800Se won't work with it. You may find that to get it to work that you may have to change the DISEqC switch to a different brand.

Using diqec 1.1.
Input 1
LNB1SAT 2.
Diqec 1.1
Input 2
LNB2
etc -
Configuration Mode = advanced
*Satellite = Hotbird 13E (any satellite name)
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
*LNB = LNB 8 (change 1-8)
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Tone-burst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = none
Fast DiSEqC = no
Sequence repeat = no
Command order = uncommitted, committed, toneburst
*Umcommitted DiSEqC command = Input 8 (change 1-8 according to LNB above)
DiSEqC repeats = None
LOF = Universal LNB
Increased voltage = yes
Polarity = Auto*Only change these settings

you then need to change to your next sat and increase the number to suit the input on the switch and so on up to your 4, i have this setup on my dm800 and then when i changed to the vu solo2
and it definitely works, if your unsure about the settings save them after you input the details for each lnb but you shouldnt have to. -
Well, Before three months ago the swicht worked good with simple configuration diseqc a-b-c-d; Now I thing DM corrupt.

Priority = Auto
LOF = Universal LNB
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
Increased voltage = Yes
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Toneburst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = None
Fast DiSEqC = no
Sequence repeat = no
Command order = uncommitted, committed, toneburst
Umcommitted DiSEqC command = Input 1
DiSEqC repeats = NoneFor other sat I have changed:

Good news
I fixed my diseqc problem in this simple mode:
sat 7 est > in 1 (a) diseqc
sat 9 est > in 2 (b) diseqc
sat 13 est > in 3 (c) diseqc
sat 19 est > in 4 (d) diseqc
I don’t know why with this satellite order the switch is working good, maybe it depends on satellites.xml file
