auto bouquets woe, pls help

    Hi all, just bought a new vu duo from forum sponsor chuffed to bits with it however having major hassles trying to set up auto bouquets, ive installed plugin but really after 2 days of searching forums and trying all sorts of combinations im still stuck , using vix image which box come with so i know thats not an issue,, could it be somthing like a lamedb file im missing and if so any one any ideas where i go from here? Thanks for looking rab

    Autobouquets is already installed in the Vix image buddy, you don't need to install it. Which is why your maybe having probs. To access it on the Vix image you goto:


    menu/setup/service searching/autobouquetsmaker

    ok read the abm tutorial however still failed? so I am gonna try another time with a reflash in case ive corrupted something by using two abm? thanks for the help and advice will let you know how I get on cheers again rab

    ok after a reflash and following the helpful advice from McKee & inspiral and a fair bit more reading I am still unable to get this auto bouquets thing working most annoying, and missed the fitbaw last night due to being caught up with the box lol however undeterred im back at it again so any other advice gratefully received cheers for looking rab

    Can you confirm which Autobouquets you are using?
    AutoBouquetsMaker by the OE Alliance which is built into the VIX image or Autobouquets E2 28.2 by lraizer?


    If the latter, which version date are you using? how did you install, if ipk which one? What are the settings you have used? Do you get teh same result if you disable script check?


    The latest version of Lraizer's plugin (think from Aug this year) does not need dvbsnoop. 55 seconds to do whole bouquets and update symlinks to picons.

    hi m8 thanks for your reply, , ok im using the auto bouquets from lraizer dated 20.10.13 doonloaded from Linux support forums, vix image installed, build 793, message I receive now after trying to update is timeout for tuner lock? what I mean is all the bouquets are there just no information regarding whats on? so after reading the tutorial on epg I thought I was getting somewhere, sadly I seem to have failed again ,this may be a hobby but its quickly beginning to become an obsession lol, my left hand is now suffering because of button pushing the remote control, think I need to get out more lol thanks again for looking , and look forwards to reading your reply's when I get back from the daily grind cheers again rab

    What receiver do you have, what is your dish setup for each tuner. Does the tuner setup match? Sounds as if the receiver is trying to use a tuner and failing. A bit odd for both ABM and AB to fail.


    Please also confirm that "autobouquets_e2.sh" and "autobouquetsreader" both have 755 attributes. They are located in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoBouquets/

    well people its SORTED thanks to a dodgy lnb ,,lol ,after tearing hair out and bothering you helpful people I connected up an old dm 800 and got the same tune failed message so after scampering up ladders and a new lnb we are cooking with north sea again thanks for awbodys patience and the advice, its members like you, that keep this forum alive, taking time and trouble to deal with punters like me, who are just starting to get into this fascinating hobby, keep up the good work thanks again rab

    Glad you got sorted. I have been trawling this forum to help me setup my new VU+DUO and had particular trouble loading the "Autobouquets" but ,thankfully, by (eventually) following the great advice on this forum I now have a great setup with thanks also to the provider of Autobouquets E2 28.2 by lraizer
