Once you have written unique to card, that same unique update will be sent regularly enough so it can be skipped until next new unique..
Just one other thing m8, as suggested to me by meerkat in another thread, I have also included this line in my [reader]
auprovid = 000963Hey Meerkat, what do i think? i think this info is not sensitive and has been shown many times publicly on forums as its the default example of a remote connection when installing oscam, i dont even have a remote connection to a reader, i just copied and pasted what was in my oscam.server file, i will try what you advised including the ident in my reader, i was advised to use dvbapi because it had worked for others recently however after 5 days i have had 55 unique emms written and 41 unique emms skipped, with over 5200 ecms leaving on a paid channel, but still nothing.

This card you are trying to update! is it the same card that you had bother with the 2nd time around and used slys online service? if so i reckon you can kiss that card goodbye with the box its paired to.
Well your configs look ok although its not how i would configure them but you should still be able to view channels if the card is not hw paired//an easy test is your official box and if they clear in that your snookered with that particular box.
it may be worth giving it ago, is it likely going to be a new card different from the white one?

Give what a go! lolz mate stick your card in the official receiver to avoid sending yourself stir crazy//if its clearing hd content in that then you will know//if your card was clearing premium channels for 2 months and then suddenly stopped clearing these channels when you took the card out and sent all your info back to sLy to update your card then it only says one thing(HW PAIRED)
You will also recieve a new white 0963 card same as all other cards as their is no new card change on the horizon/how and what are you going to say to sly to convince them to send a new card and what are you going to do with it.

2 year old toddler has been into everything of late and must have taken the card out the box because the flap comes down easy and it cant be found he/she has been at the box a few times of later and the tele is all hand marks also what a night mare what will a new card cost me , come on peeps use the grey matter

On another note, wont the new card be pre-paired to the box now that sly have all the pairing details??
Might also have to say that the toddler swallowed the DRX890 :laugh:
From what im seeing tf its still the card going into the box that doing the damage , i still think when the new card comes itll be a case of calling to get it active ,as youll get a credit for the time that its been off
I would imagine the card has been sent to you from sly with them expecting you to put it in your sly box to activate it....
Two options you could try, first one is this: activating or waking up dead cards with dvbapi and OSCam alone, then leave your box on sly one for example overnight and hopefully the unique emm you require will come through.
second one which I have never tried myself but it has been posted on here before is to reset your pin online through the sly website, this should send a unique emm to your card.

I am well aware of grey areas stevejo....using a bit of savvy so to speak but this is daviddawns account and card so its good to see if a member is willing to put in a shift and help themselves out sometimes.
hi guys im back! ok so i got them to send me a new card out, telling them my kid took it out and couldn't find it anywhere, last time i received the card, i put it straight into omnikey reader and oscam read entitlements, however now it says i have none CARDOK (no entitlements)
any ideas ???
Sly always sent replacement cards out pre-activated but things have changed as i can see you must now realise so as said by mckee25 your card will require activating by the looks of it..as long as you have not changed anything from when you were trying to update your last card then its just a case of waiting for your entitlements/emm to arrive.
My advice would be to open global emms and restart your server to ensure your card is receiving emms/then close globals and wait patiently!Worst case scenario is binning your amstrad and obtaining a specific thomson hd box!
Also i do not think resetting the pin with slys online service is a good idea as you could end up in some soapy poodoo again but its upto yourself.

As said youll need to get it activated put the card in the server make sure au is set right , boot the *** box up but with the card in the server and having noted the card number get to the page with the receiver id as they will ask version, box serial ,card serial ,receiver id ,and get it activated only new cards come activated when we all get one , a replacement is a dead card that needs initialized still ,with no IN hit it wont wake
If you phone up it won't be a automated system your connected too, there will be a sly advisor on the other end of the phone... If your going to go down this road use the online help assistant on their website instead, does the same job with having to talk to an actual person.
There is a tab in the help section of their website for live chat, that's what i mean buddy.
