Mgcamd on Vix458 back up image

Hi all, is it possible to install mgcamd 1.35 on the vix458 back up image?

On the image description it says oscam/ccam, doesn't mention mgcamd so just wondering?

Sorry if I'm being thick. Complete newbie.

There is no reason why you cant install mgcamd on openvix, i have mgcamd 1.35a running on 9 receivers all with different openvix builds perfectly fine.

To Install > FTP the attached file to /tmp -> /var/tmp/ > Blue Button > ViX > Install Local Extensions

Yes. Use the username and password in the writeup of backup image.

For info: regular Vix images, username is "root" and there is no password set.
