earlier on in the week I added a setanta card which is working great. 2 days ago I was getting a lot of emms and my main *** card updated to the end of march. for the past 2 days I have really high ecms close to 500ms and then back to normal about 150ms. I have changed to oscam 9160 but no difference apart from cacheex is great now. I always used to get ecm at a constant between 120ms to 170ms.
ecms are up and down bouncing around from as low as 1ms when drawing from cache to over 500. my configs are just the bare minimum now to run both cards. I'm running on an uno but thinking about switching to a pc
High ecm times now

I didn't change anything apart from adding a second card albeit for 2 channels and adding a cacheex peer
-
now the times are upto 700ms even from cache
-
reflashed with an old image backup from last October with settings that worked at that time and still the same
-
Is this on both your local network and DNS? Do a speed test and check your ping
-
its on the oscam webif so coming straight from the card. its not the same peers it alternates randomly
-
Sounds like Uncle Rupert is having a play again. To be honest i think something like this is to be expected considering what is happening at the moment with the cards.

no problem here related high ecm everythig working fine as it was
to me seems problem is in ur configs or might be possible its becauz of cacheex peers which u have. -
I don't think it's your configs if they worked fine before. I had this problem a couple of months ago where the screen would go blank for 10-20secs and ecms would be high...they must be tinkering

I'm sure the EMM issue is just a coincidence. Have you removed the "cacheex peer" you added in post #2?
The symptoms you describe are exactly those caused by cacheex.
For me, cacheex was giving ECM response of ~700-900ms even when I have a full local card which gives ~100ms. Disabling all cacheex peers (especially for 0963) solved it instantly. Some others have reported this too.
