not sure what you mean bloto22, what are you trying to do and what does GS mean?

Got this up and running last night, looks sweet, one thing i did notice was that when doing a soft restart the box would hang at USH1, doing a cold restart ( power off and on) box comes up fine, any ideas?

if i was to upgrade this via usb on amiko alien 2 what do i need to do, when i put the rootfs on usb and go in spark to upgrade it says failed cannot find app file ?

how do u install this i have put this on a flash drive pressed the down button and pressed updt but getting error uimage and thats it?

moosa1991 did you use the USB image or Nand? If USB if you unzip the image and transfer to box via DCC ftp into medi/hdd and leave in the root. When the box is running go into the Blue Panel/Image Installation and you should see it. Ensure your USB was in and change the top setting to sdb, the bottom one should be the image name. Click flash backup, wait until its finished and then reboot to USH1.

If you have no image at all use the nand image and you should have 3 files including an update one. Put them onto the root of the USB from your PC, transfer the USB into your box and then follow your instructions above. That should sort you out

I have this working in nand at the moment you need the update from v3

Alright mate - did you get anywhere with this? I face the same problem it hangs on USH1 and the only way to resolve it is to pull the power cable out as you said. Cheers

lets get thing clear when come to PKT image for nbox.

Why are they realase software for nbox ?? Beacuse the main thread is for diffrent box, all these extras, requires a lot of memory etc.

PKT HAVING A CHAINS (enviroment for nbox) SH4, THEY SIMPLY BUILD THE IMAGE WHICH BY DEFAULT HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR OTHER BOX. (just take up to 15min to build cross coneverted image from other box)

Other teams "making" firmware in the same way very often.

If the care, they should realase "LIGHT" version for nbox, they dont even test that software on nbox. Thats why is so many bugs when u running it on nbox.
PKT realased new firmware some time a go with PIG support in skin, that was killer of nbox, a lot "uboots" vanished.
It was a very popular problem, who test that before has been realased for nbox from PKT?? no one ?

But from time to time, they realase something nice, true is that they got best recording "image-moduls" for nbox.

Hello sorry about this but this is annoying me now

I have put it onto a usb flash drive and turned on u-boot on the Nbox
i press PKTM and leave it it comes up saying load and nothing els

the light of the flash drive does not flash so its not reading it

What els can i do? please!!

if you have freebox uboot, press and hold power button on front panel of box

plug the power on wait till you see prog on display.

If b4t, remove power, power up box but keep pressing top and bottom arrow during boot untill you notice that everytime you pressing arrow, something is changing on display, find in there UPDT or UPDATE, depends of bootloaders used, duo multiboot v1, v2 etc.

However put in you min to use correct env for hyprion images, its diffrent from nebula env. Use correct env.

I have hyperion v4 installed on nand. about 4-5 times everyday i get the loading bar come up randomly on screen which eventually freezes the box and needs to restart by pulling cable out.
any ideas on what i can do/check? or what i might have done wrong

baisha it is to do with the limited amount of memory in Nand. This version of Hyperion 4 maxes out the memory so you are better running it from USB. There are plenty of guides on here.

i got it running from usb and still have the same problem when i go to the channel list and move up and down the box freezes and the loading bar comes up. only way to fix on temp basis is to pull power cable in and out. this happens numerous times every other day.
