hiya guys - ive got a vu+uno, removed the sat tuner and put in a genuine vu cable tuner, now ive flashed the box with a freash BH latest image, i can see the cable tuner listed, connection is live as i have bb with virgin, when i do a auto scan im not picking up any channels, to satrt off i want to see if i can pick up the FTA ones, then ill move on, i ahve no cams installed yet but was hoping some FTA channels to be viewable..any help as to waht i need to do, when i do a auto scan it " try s to find used transponders in cable network" then error comes up failed to scan,,i followed this HERE but no luck

Have you added your cable.xml file ?
Also thought vix was best for running cable on VU, i may be wrong tho as i cant get cable

Ok mate, well good luck with it (genuinely), most people i know who are using cable cs have had problems using blackhole, would be interested to how you get on m8 :14_002:

I have the Ultimo with the C/T2 tuner in and using the latest Blackhole 2.1.0 and have no issues, all i did was insert a Cables.xml file and i did a brute force scan picked everything up it should

var/tuxbox search for the brutforce cable.xml if u need help pm me

here is the Cable.xml file upload then use Bruteforce method to get your scan going

install vix appollo and use the ABM uk cable, works great and takes seconds to search.
