mgcamd:
Client only emulator > Uses GBox, Newcamd, CCcam, Radegast, Camd3 protocols > Unsupported..
CCcam:
Works as a Card reader/server & client > Uses Newcamd & CCcam protocols > Unsupported..
Oscam:
Works as a Card reader/server & client > Uses CSP, Camd 33, cs357x, cs378x, Newcamd, Radegast, CCcam, GBox, Pandora protocols > Supported with daily updates..
so you have more options with oscam then would that be right ?
which one of them is the most reliable for picture quality and reliability and the simplest to get up and running for a rookie like me...
thanks buddy.
so as you know most people use CCcam but OScam have more options.
can use OScam for card reader/server and use CCcam for client?

Depends on whether you have your own card or not and which card it is.. If you were only a client then mgcamd is the best option..

Yes you could use oscam with a separate CCcam or mgcamd if you wanted..

can run both of them in one server? or i need 2 separate server?
You can easily run oscam and CCcam on the same server, and for example let CCcam download from Oscam, but it's easier to let Oscam run it all and let it emulate CCcam, or rather, use CCcam SERVICE PROTOCOL from Oscam.
Paste this into oscam.conf:
[newcamd]
port = 12XX@0x3x:000000
key = 0102030405060708091011121314
keepalive = 1
mgclient = 1
[cccam]
port = xxxx
version = 2.2.1
reshare = 2
forward_origin_card = 1
