  • My server is working 100% (duo 2) but in another room i have an ultimo
which has lost its network connection and when doing a network test its
telling me the IP address is unconfirmed and name server as well.i have
checked the address and it is entered correctly, any ideas what i can do next.

  • This sounds similar to a previous problem you had tooth bud..
Check DCC to search for the ultimo IP. then in menu/setup/system check the IP and nameserver
( this will be the same if you look inside router configuration)
Make sure DHCP is off when restarting...

  • Hi caz. yes it has happened before and I've checked numerous times and
the ip and name server are correct and DHCP is off. I know there must be
    something I've overlooked but I can't think what.I use a wireless bridge
with the ultimo so I will hardwire it after coronation st is over, better not
    attempt it before hand.

  • Wired or wireless? Sometimes something silly like ethernet cable not in right.

yip or the bridge hasn´t updated to latest change of external IP..
my system has been suffering this of late too... still looking into it..
i would say a restart of router and then ultimo will sort this...works for me..

  • Ok caz. and dekelster it's sorted.I have restarted the box lots of times and
reset the router but this time I switched router off and on again and all
running 100%. I would think switching the router off was the answer.

    Cheers and thanks.
