I've got a new Vu+ Duo2 and downloaded the Manual from http://vuplus.com/downloadManual.html
However it is very sparse on details even essentials like default usernames and passwords.
Where are these documented?
usernames and passes are only used on personalised images not official vu+ images...
Have you installed a 3rd party image on it yet??
if not try this latest BH or VIX out
which will save you a lot of headaches from the start...
Eventually once you get the hang of it you can setup from a clean image to your liking ,,,,,
I haven´t tried that bud,,,never bothered but you can try : user: root pass: vuplus
is openwebif in your list of plugins??? if so you need to set a http port to be able to access this information.... if you open openwebif from the plugins list you can change the HTTP port to 08888 for example.
You would then access the webif from your browser using http://theipofyourduo2:8888
I think the default username for the VU image is: root and the password is: vuplus
Can you get access to telnet ? If so try setting up your own password by typing passwd then following the on screen instructions..
