i have tried changing the logfile script and i still get nothing?? I try the look to the web interface with my IP address 10.10.1X.XXX:8888, and I dont get anyting? i will try flashing a new image to start a fresh...
Is oscam definitely running ?
open telnet
type
cd /usr/bin and hit enter
type
./oscam-unstable and hit enter
what errors are reported ?
try to fix each error then repeat until no errors are left and oscam starts.
Try to access the webinterface with a different browser..
Hey Master G, getting somewhere!!! I have the errror :
root@dm800sev2:/usr/bin# ./oscam-unstable
./oscam-unstable: error while loading shared libraries: libusb-1.0.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
So, i have to this file, and put it where?
hi, no i am not upset no prob budy, your internet was to slow ,and maybe we click together the mouse.
with MG is verry good help ,hope you solted your prob.
this card shud working good with oscam.
good loock
Try installing the attached file.. It`s an .ipk so FTP it to /tmp folder then manually install local extensions on image menu.. Reboot then try to start oscam in telnet again.. If that doesn`t work i will compile a different version of oscam for you that doesn`t require libusb support..
Here is another version to try that doesn`t require the libusb dependency..
Ok, MG, you have got me very very close, Massive thanks for all the help so far!!!
So, i believe oscam is now running cause there is a log!!! However i can not get into the webif because there is a problem with the ssl
When i did the telnet check it came up with quite a few oscam config issues, i can see the lines in the config files, but how do i know what to change them to??
Here is the list:
root@dm800sev2:/usr/bin# ./oscam-unstable

Thanks
Christian
Those config warnings are nothing to worry about..
Make sure the card is chip side down in the reader.
Which slot did you have the card in, top or bottom ? The configs are for the top reader..
You could try the bottom Smartcard-Reader also. In oscam.server change device = /dev/sci0 to device = /dev/sci1 then restart oscam.
Show us the full oscam log from start up..

i still can not get into the oscam config webif, i have tried Chrome and Firefox. i also changed one of the line in the oscam.config under webif so that it fits in our ip range here, but still no joy with the web if??
What do you think?
Thanks

Does the card have any entitlements ? How To See Your Card Entitlements When Using Oscam
Hi MG, tried the above configs, and no joy. i got the oscam webif working and looked at the card entitlements and maybe it does not have any???? This is very weird if that is to do with subscription as it is paid!!!! It says
Entitelments for RTVI
cardsystem (blank) Valid to (n/a) IRD ID (FF FF FF FF) Provider (blank) Serial (00 00 00 00) Rom (blank) ATR 3F 77 18 00 00 C2 7a 42 02 68 90 00
Type, Caid, Provid, ID, Class, Start Date, Expire date and Name are all blank????????
I am off to bed now, thank you for your relentless support you are a top person and have got me very close!!! I think maybe tommorrow i will hook up the old analoge box and make sure the card is still working?
Once again THANK YOU!!!
Christian
I have done a bit more reasearch on entitlements and have set up the old box and put the card in, no picture on that.... so i have left it in there, hopefully it will update. FYI here is the last log with the new config

#
#STATIC CW FILE : /var/keys/constant.cw
# in this file you can configure what CAIDs CCcam should prefer or ignore
# defaults to /var/etc/CCcam.prio
# file content can have ignores (I) and prio lists (P)
#
# note 1: I line affects both for ecm and emm (receive no emm on ignored systems)
# P line only affects ecm choice (emm still received for all available systems, not just the priority system)
#
# note 2: ident 0 means 'all idents'. So 'caid:0' is the same as 'caid'.
#
# note 3: for some systems (e.g. nagra (caid 18xx)), the ident is not known at the time the
# prio lists are checked. In that case, matching is done on caid only, even if the P line
# defines nonzero idents. So for example '1801:401' behaves the same as '1801' in a P line
# I lines work differently, they are checked two times, once before ecm or emm is received, again
# after ecm or emm are received (and nagra ident should be known)
# P lines are only checked once, before ecm received.
#
# note 4: if a P line contains caid:ident pairs which are not available for the current
# channel, that P line is not used for that channel.
# Example, channel has systems 626, 1801:401 then P line with "1801,100:96,626" is ignored by that channel,
# because channel doesn't have 100:96.
# But P line with "1801" works, and also "626,1801" will work for channel
#
# note 5: P lines are parsed in the order in which they are found in the prio file.
# Only the first matching P line is used
#
# situation 1: ignore allways this caid, all idents, on all channels
# I: caid
#
# situation 2: ignore allways this caid/ident pair
# I: caid:ident
#
# situation 3: ignore this caid/ident pair, on channel 'sid'
# I: caid:ident:sid
#
# situation 4: when both caid1 and caid2 exist for a channel, prefer caid1 over caid2
# P: caid1, caid2
#
# situation 5: when caid1:ident1 till caidN:identN exist for a channel, use them in order of this list.
# P: caid1:ident1, caid2:ident2, .., caidN:identN
#
# situation 6: when caid1:ident1 till caidN:identN exist for channel 'sid', use them in order of this list.
# Sid on first caid/ident pair identifies sid for which list is used. All other sids ignore this list.

CCcam is not being used in your setup, so no need to configure anything in the CCcam.cfg..
The current configs are for bottom card reader, is the card in the bottom slot ?
There are two different idents for this card (0500:042300) & (0500:024B00). Try the other ident to see if it makes any difference. Make the following changes then show us a full log from start up and after zapping some chnanels..
oscam.dvbapi
P: 0500:024B00
oscam.server
ident = 0500:024B00
oscam.user
ident = 0500:024B00
Hi MG,
I changed the settings and it is still the same. The card is in the lower slot, and i have done a little check to ensure that it sees the card, you see the line in the log at 1355.00 that is not there if i put the card in the top slot.
I may have been a bit foolish about the card, the package is RTVi, The card its self says inter TV on oneside and then on the other a little sentence to say that the card belongs to inter TV ltd in both english and russian. at the bottom of the card below the barcode is viaccess. the for channels we should get is:
12322H RTV international Europe 14802
Detski Mir 14803
teleklub 14803
nashe lubimoe kino 14804
Thanks again.
Christian

I may have been a bit foolish about the card, the package is RTVi, The card its self says inter TV on oneside and then on the other a little sentence to say that the card belongs to inter TV ltd in both english and russian. at the bottom of the card below the barcode is viaccess.
Try this new id for INTER TV;
ident = 0500:FFF780
Or this;
ident = 0500:FFF780,042300
